First time eating at this restaurant & the food we ordered were delicious. Just... beef could be cooked a little longer, fried rice less oil & a little more serving for the price but the rest were awesome! The highlight was the service, the food came fast & the ladies were excellent, thank you!!!
Excellent meal with enough for leftovers. We had the spicy beef, pan fried dumplings, eggplant/basil, and dry noodles with house special sauce. Great service, despite how busy it was.
Knife shaved noodle are the best!! Their food portion is huge, service is decent. The pot sticker was okay average. If you love noodle and dumplings and Chinese pancakes, this place is a must try!
Beef burrito was crispy on the outside which I really liked, portions were huge, very authentic.
Ordered beef needle, shanxi knife cut fried noodles and saliva chicken. Flavor is 100% what you get in Taiwan. Price and portion is not bad! Recommend all dishes.
This place is known for their signature noodles just to name few from hand craft noodle, knife cut, thin, thick. Since it's mainly Shanxi style, majority of the dish are spicy and taste delicious. But they also have many non spicy choice too so no need to worry. My favorite are the noodle soup, there are like 10 different types and I am on my 5th try xD.
Beef noodle soup and hand pulled noodles are top notch. The noodles are girthy, have good texture, obviously hand pulled, and are a wonderful transport mechanism for the flavorful beef broth. I had about 7 pieces of beef in my soup, which was adequate. Any more and it would detract from the primary purpose of ordering this dish, which are the soup and noodles. Honestly it was so good I forgot to take a picture. I had a side of pan fried dumplings, which were seared perfectly. The meat inside was cooked right, and complimented the crispy chewy textures of the wrapper. The boiled dumplings I could have done without. I ordered pork and cabbage. It obtained about a rounded teaspoon of meat and veg, and was rather unflavorful without the soy/vinegar mix that accompanied the dish. Lastly, how can one come to a Mandarin noodle shop without ordering the Xiao long bao? They call it Small Dumpling here. There's no pic on the menu, and it's hidden in the middle of the menu. Weird. It's strictly middling, for me at least. Our party was split in ratings. One said itl lacked flavor, similar to what I felt about the boiled version. I felt it was average, and so did the last person. The bao actually might've been slightly overcooked, so a few stuck to the tray, tearing the bottom and losing the holy Grail which is the juicy soup contained in the dumpling. overall, a good experience. Food came quickly, water was attentive with refilling out waters and tea pot.
